Breach of trust -- my identity has been compromised

There was a reason why I started blogging anonymously. I wanted to criticize everyone and everything. And I told only a few of my very closest friends. But today I came to know that for one of them, his political affiliation is more important than my friendship and trust, and due to this conflict of political interest, I found out that he compromised my identity. What a shame. When will we ever learn that differences and criticism doesn’t mean I personally hate anyone.

So I had no choice but to delete all the posts on this blog.

At first I thought of deleting the blog altogether but some of my other closest friends are against it, and complemented by saying that “DCJ” has already become a well-known “brand name” on the Maldivian Blogosphere and that it will be such a shame to delete it just like that. So what I have decided is that, since my identity has been compromised on this big, I will instead start another anonymous blog, sooner or later, and hand over this blog to anyone who is willing to uphold the “Drink Cunt Juice” brand name. There’s only one condition to be met: you should be a person who doesn’t have any political affiliations, and should be independent enough to criticize everyone and everything.

As I say my sad farewell to this blog, I feel quite low, wondering: if you cannot trust even your closest friends, who can you really trust in this world? I don’t have any answer.
